有这样一群特殊的患儿，

他们来自柬埔寨、缅甸等周边国家

他们不远万里，相聚在昆明

只为就诊同一个病

“先天性心脏病”

A group of children from surrounding countries like Cambodia, Myanmar gathered in Kunming City for the same reason. They hoped to cure their CHD (congenital heart disease) here.

11月4日上午，15位参加第2届“澜湄新闻官员及媒体记者培训”活动的官员、记者一起来到云南省阜外心血管病医院考察学习。

15 participants of the Second Seminar for Media Officials and Journalists from Mekong Countries had an inspect tour in Fuwai Yunnan Cardiovascular Hospital on Nov. 4.

当得知有几位来自缅甸的儿童正在医院接受先心病免费治疗时，大家特意到一病区去看望。

Noting some children from Myanmar were receiving free treatment, participants wanted to pay a visit.

老乡见老乡，格外开心。

They were happy to see each other.

病患儿童母亲高兴地告诉澜湄的记者们：“我们在这里得到了医院的精心照顾，孩子恢复很快。”2018年10月，15位缅甸“先心病”患儿来到昆明，目前其中6位孩子已经康复出院回国。

A mother of a child patient said that thanks to the thoughtful care provided by the hospital, her child was getting better and better. 15 children with CHD came to Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province in October this year and up to now, 6 of them have recovered and gone back home.

缅甸宣传部宣传与公共关系司文学审查长杜美丹达貌说，真是太令人感动了。看到缅甸同胞在阜外医院安心养病，特别温暖，感谢中国政府这种“爱心无国界、医疗出国门”的举动，这将为促进缅甸与中国的友好交流与合作奠定良好基础。

Seeing her compatriots were recovering, May Thanda Maung, scrutnizer of Information and Publish Relations Department of Myanmar was deeply moved. She expressed thanks to Chinese government and said that the medical aids would enhance exchanges and cooperations between China and Myanmar.

在一病区，大家还遇到了在医院进修的柬埔寨医务人员民江鹏。他兴奋地跟学员们分享在医院的学习生活。

In the hospital, participants also met Min Chanpor, a medical staff from Cambodia. He shared his life and learning excitedly.

随后，大家在听了院方的相关介绍后好奇地提了许多问题。

They then asked many questions in curiosity.

走出医院，老挝新闻文化旅游部大众媒体司信息网络部部长万纳信·森马翁感叹到：

Living the hospital, Vannasin Simmavong from Laos, Head of Information and Internet Division, Department of Mass Media, Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, said:

“今天感受了阜外医院舒适的就医环境、优质的医疗服务和贴心的生活保障，堪比一流。相信在不远的将来，将会有很多湄公河流域的患者慕名而来。”

“Comfortable environment, high quality services and thoughtful living security make Fuwai Yunnan Cardiovascular Hospital a top-ranking international hospital. I believe in the near future, more and more patients from Mekong countries will come and have their diseases cured.”

据了解，云南省阜外心血管病医院，是由云南省人民政府与中国医学科学院共同合作，按三级甲等心血管病专科医院标准建设的高水平公立医院。自2017年以来，医院先后与老挝、缅甸、柬埔寨等国家医疗卫生机构积极合作，开展境外免费义诊及先心病患儿筛查活动。

Jointly cooperated by People’s Government of Yunnan Province and Chinese Academy of Medical sciences, Yunnan Fuwai Yunnan Cardiovascular Hospital is a public hospital specialized in cardiovascular disease treatment.

Starting from 2017, the hospital has been joining hands with medical and health organizations in Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia to provide free treatment and CHD screening for young patients.
